This is interesting, though I am not sure if the point is that Top Posts and inline posts serve different purposes of that the raising the issue of top-posts makes the list a less friendly place. (Top Post .. more below)

The new lists never seem to last, or there is lots of cross posting; which makes sense, since the specific issues are often interesting to the general list. In general good use of filters and the delete key is the best solution.
