Yep, Carl and I are at The Ranch near Carlsbad, NM (tho not for long -
heading west by end of the weekend). And yes, Lew is here too. He's
been roosting for some time. Several times in last 2 months there
have been a collection of Airstreams. In mid-November there were 4
here with 3 of them being the 34' Limited with lounge slideouts - how
cool is that! At the moment there are 3 Airstreamers on the
membership waiting list of 12.
We are pleased for Robert that he has joined The List, and is already
finding info sharing happening by List members. What is amazing is
that it is like sitting around a campfire where 'everything under the
RV sun' is discussed - generators, tires, campgrounds, special sights
to see, fulltiming, tow vehicles, axle ratios, long bed/short bed,
diesel or gas, best speeds, hitches, etc., etc. and oh yes,
Airstreams!
