Yes. I'm trying to write to an existing file. I'm using
GUI_DOWNLOAD. This FM give me SY-SUBRC = 15 if the file is opened by
MS Excel. What I want is to tell users that they have to close the
file first before the writing is actually made. Telling them later,
will be too late or rewriting should be performed back again. This
is not good enough for me. Any other thought?

Hi all,
Is there any FM to check whether or not an Excel file is opened by
MS Excel before writing or creation is made.
Thank you.
