'Member what Scott Ambler did with his Agile Modeling
book, wherein he kept posting stuff for review and
iteratively developed the book?
And of course he does that with some of his SD articles,
which apparently some think this other author should
have done. :-)
Would that sort of thing appeal to you?
However you proceed, you probably will produce a work
of value because you write well and show respect for
people and a desire to understand their motivations.
As well, together those translate to market, IMHO.

P.S. BTW, the article you cited was indeed thought good
enough to publish by SD, which remains a respected venue.
