Environment: - Neo4j 2.0 - Oracle JDK 1.7 - OS X 10.9 - Node 0.10.21
I have a number of unit tests which exercise Neo4j via the REST API. Before each test, the database is cleared using the following query: MATCH (n) OPTIONAL MATCH (n)-[r]-() DELETE n, r This works fine for a while and then the Neo4j server becomes unresponsive for this query. When the query is issued, there is no response from the server and my test eventually times out. Once the server is in this state, I can also issue this query from the Neo4j browser. After a long delay, the browser shows an "Unknown Error" message. I can issue other queries successfully, but the "delete all" query continues to time out or error out until I restart the server. There is nothing in the neo4j.0.0.log or console.log that indicates any problem.
