Alireza,
we are working on pulling some of the spatial functionality into the core
Cypher and Kernel Neo4j engine. It's not super easy, but there has been
some encouraging GSoC to test the waters, see
https://github.com/neo4j-contrib/GSoC/wiki for the projects, and some
reports earlier this summer on this list.
