The max clock in the driver is 110Mhz. That would indeed give you only 60Hz. We don't know what the maximum of any chip above NM2200 therefore we limit it to the limit of the 2200. In fact I just checked the Noemagic home page and it appears as if all information referring to their graphics chipsets is gone.
