I have just order six IN14 nixies, PCBs from Australie and components to
uild a simple clock as featured in Silicon Chip:
http://www.siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_109004/article.html
The clock uses CD4017 BCD-counters with decimal OPs and loadsof
HV-transistors, which suites me perfect. I grew up with TTL and CMOS-logic.
Besides with the PCB I hope construction will go much faster and things will
not get stucked.
The nixies, IN14, were bough pretty cheap on eBay. I also have four ZM1020
and a MM5312 clock circuit for anothe project.
