Thank goodness for Ebay & Paypal. I recently purchased and received my very first honest to goodness chinese counterfeit electronics about a month ago. They were sold to me as Nvidia GT240 videocards, but on MUCH closer examination, they were really Nvidia 7300gt's with hacked firmware and hacked drivers to make them report as "GT240". Although I gave the seller the benefit of the doubt to begin with, it soon became obvious that he was very much aware of what he was selling. I used the ebay resolution center to get my money back (Ebay told me to keep the bogus cards), I contacted Nvidia and sent them the bogus cards as well as all the contact information for the counterfeit seller. I also went ahead and reported all of that seller's similar listings as counterfeit. I noticed that ebay removed the listings pretty promptly.
