Many of your tubes probably should be in your semiconductor collection. And, if semiconductor is a dirty word, then in the bin !

Page 551 describes Barium-Strontium-Calcium Oxide Cathodes, as "most widely used at the present time in receiving tubes, cathode ray tubes, picture tubes, and similar devices". Wait for it....
