Ooh, PSU looks ideal for a photomultiplier tube - been wondering about how to power the one I've got. (Will need multiplier - tube runs at 2.4kV.)

Two tubes in the project, but both vacuum ;-) [Experiment to see if low-energy x-rays (10-25kV) or gamma rays (0.5 uCi Co60 sealed source) can cause scintillation in a chunk of native scheelite. If nothing visible, will use PMT as detector.]
