There must be some rich people who would be interested in this sort of thing. This is curious, as it's not *their* Apple 1 computer, but someone else's. It must be the historical significance, whatever that is.

I bought a piece of an old Univac computer from ebay many years ago, and posted photos of it on my website. A historian/collector offered me a rather large amount of money for it. His explanation was that it was apparently the only surviving example of the hardware of this model of machine. I didn't want it as much as he did.

And some years ago, a fine fellow mailed me a couple IBM 704 8-tube logic modules for free. I suspect they'd be worth a good bit to a collector, but I just keep one around the house to show people. I gave the other one to my twin brother for the same purpose.

I'm glad that other people have money to blow on this sort of artifact.
