Thumped it hard enough to release. This POST is about 3 of the 13 tubes (only 12 shipped - waiting on seller response (even though I completely opened the box under video camera)). http://www.ebay.com/itm/121817475654 Actually, one tube has a pin completely bent inward 90deg. I took the risk and was able to bend it completely normal. tube works. 3 have crossed over segments. Will post a pic if the above links work. Michail Wilson

I thought I saw at one time that someone applied power to heat it and shake the tube or simply apply a lot of power in order to completely blast the short. I don't recall.
