Hmmm, 'not sure what to say about the smokiness visible in the side windows. I bought some NOS tubes from a decent seller that had the same issue, but they seemed new otherwise. Maybe it really is a result of burning the tubes in at the factory.
i suppose it's possible. The workers probably weren't paid enough to care. :-) ....and they weren't as special when they were still being made! It's nice to see 1990 date codes...
