We checked various sources and kits and the Alena IN-14 with wooden case was 
decided.

I am not that active with nixie projects. Sold one of my two clocks (as my 
moving to a new flat made a too big hole in my accounts) and the second need 
some more (wood)work. Besides, I have two VFD-displays with Russian clock-ICs, 
and some 6 nixie tubes from an old Fairchild DMM. No clue what to do with them.
