In High School a friend of mine accidentally grabbed both wires of a furnace transformer. I wasn't there at the time but the witness told me it was pretty scary. I had both terminals of a photoflash cap touch the palm of my hand once. Ouch. The only other HV sources I've been zapped by several times are Helium-Neon laser power supplies.
