I was asked to build another 14-digit nixie calculator, so I ordered some B-5870 and designed the board for them. Today I have got the boards and the nixies. The tubes are absolutely beautiful and now I’m no longer sure if I should use them for a calculator. I wanted to buy more but they seem to be sold out. So, the dilemma is: calculator or two tiny clocks... I have no experience with B-5870. Are these reliable nixies?
