Not me! It's been in the back of my mind for a while, but I've been
really busy this year. I keep track of all the gear that goes through
my shop on a spreadsheet, and there's over 190 entries for this year.
That doesn't include some bigger jobs that get their own spreadsheet,
like Steve Widman's 32 ch Series II (caps, chips, IC sockets, various
upgrades etc) and Drew North's 32 ch Elite (selective re-capping and
upgrades, fully upgraded master section) and many house calls and road
trips...over 30 days worth. I will make an inquiry about plexi-glas
fabrication tomorrow.

What I am trying to figure out is if you design one so that it
felt pads that ride on the write strip, how do you keep it from easing
what is on the write strip? I guess if you normally use blue masking
tape and permanent marker on your write strip that isn't an issue, but
I sometimes use white board markers, which I can envision would be
wiped clean after a more than one or two passes. ;-)

It's kind of funny you should ask. My tray for
script was indeed shorter and ran half the length to the top, but I
also made one the full length for my
automation CRT VGA monitor that ran the full
length from scribble strip to the edge of meter bridge. You can also
add a 1/2" piece of square plexi
to the tray to act as a stop so the copy doesn't
slide off the tray. Just use a little super glue to the piece and glue
it wherever you want.
Very easy to make, looks great and allows you to
see the knob positions under it.
