Hi Patrick,     I think the fact that you love what you are doing and are dedicated to recording live instruments in a live room the way they sound to a human ear or a ribbon microphone sounds like a pretty good business plan. You should put that in your promo material.     I'm starting to see some of my clients doing better after some pretty lean years. In many ways, the fact that they were able to keep going during those times has prepared them to get through what might be some tough times ahead. Myself, I'm optimistic about the coming year, especially if we all try to ignore the ups and downs of "play money" and try and concentrate on real things...like live players playing live instruments in a live room!
