Hi,

I've been eyeballing Neoteks on ebay for some time.
Here's one - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250331135093 -
24 Channels, 8 Buses, with PSU but untested - went for $3550.

Here's another -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230312680655 - Same
configuration as the one above, some modding or at least some drilling on the
faceplates, no PSU - went for $2076.

Subject: Re: NEOTEK: NEOTEK series one sale price?

  Hi

well, i tried to look into the crystal ball, but it is a bit cloudy... they
didn't cost that much when they were new..., and they are known for needing
"attention" (but, hey, they're getting older.. so, it's expected). i think they
were considered almost an expendable by some studios/facilities... and there
aren't all that many out there...

I've been trying to sell one for a client for a while at nearly $5000.00 and
it isn't selling... but, I'm sure you could get at least $1000.00 USD for
it..asumming it still works okay...

but, I'm just giving an educated,"guess".. I recently told someone their
Trident wouldn't sell for more than $2000 and they got over $3000.. so, I
never say never..

If I were doing a full market analysis, these points would be included, but i
would invoke other references and it would contain additional detail.. but, I
think the answer would still be about the same.

  I hope this helps.

What is your friend hoping to pay for it?

If you want to sell it ... you might just chose to accept his offer.

  Thanks

    Hi Lynn,

I have no hard answers on that, I believe it to be late 80's, it is one of
the latest models as it has the later style knobs that were used, and the
modules come completely out, plus two of the channels have the four band
parametric eq, the other 10 ch have the normal single parametric eq.

The master section is def set up for recording, not like the theatre
versions I have seen before..

    Hope that held

        Hi all,

Would happen to happen to know approx value of my series one?

It's a 12:4:2 recording version in good shape, I think it has been
re-capped at some stage of it's life.

I have a friend who might want to buy it but I'm not sure what to ask.

        Any help much appreciated.

      Hi

Do you know what version of series one it is? And, how old it is?

      Thanks
