Could be a ribbon cable problem, as Jim suggested, or it could be some
bad soldering in the master section. I won't have a chance to look at my
Elan docs until sometime tomorrow or even Tuesday.

I'm having a little issue with the meters on my year old Elan 2. At
a very intermittent pace I will have drop outs from -7 down. No issues
from -7 up. It happens on all meters whenever it fells like it.
It just started yesterday so I haven't contacted Sytek yet, just
