Hi Ike and others.
Yes I did mean the TL783, I have been working outside in hot sun mixing
concrete for 3 weeks and I can't remember anything!
It is compatible with the TO220 version of the LM317 but I think the
resistors need lowering in value, please look at the data sheet for
guidance.All other components can be as listed elsewhere I think.
I use these quite a lot but again can't remember which resistor values I
use for 48 Volts.
