Hello,
I have a SII that has developed a intermittent sound issue. When
playing back tracks from any source (inputs, 2-track, etc...) the sound becomes
intermittent and goes from soft to loud. If I press down on the master module,
the volume increases and I lose control of the control room monitor pot. I am
suspecting this is a faulty ground but wanted to get other opinions as well.
FYI, one of the screw mounts is stripped and the screw does not fully screw
that corner down. I was given advice before on re-drilling the holes and using
different screws but I lost/erased that email on accident. Would someone with
that knowledge please resend that info if you have it.
