In 2006 I purchased a short loaded hard wired Neotek series 1e 16x8 in a 24x8 channel frame from a guy in salt lake city Utah. He cleared out a church that was being renovated. He didn't know what it was. I offered him $1600 he accepted and even paid $575 to have it shipped to me. Through the years I purchased modules here and there had it rewired, recapped, modded, and everything else. It's been a lot of this and that but worth my time and every penny. The console is now a 24x8. 20 series 1e mods and 4 series 1 mods. The sound is amazing natural open beautiful musical bliss. I want to apologize to the seller as well. If you think about an api 3124 it goes for approx, $2300 and that's only 4 pre's. Here you have a fully functual front end with killer eq, and a mixer with tons of head room. Also they are far and few between due to everyone racking up mods.

My place is too small for a console like this, my needs do not require this much of this type of flexibility and i do not posses the tech savy to work on it much myself and these days my financial situation limits me to only basic things. I have had a few bites and lukewarm interest from potential buyers but I have not been terribly aggressive about selling it. There is that part of me who just dosent want to let her go! the last potential buyer I had was willing to pay 6 grand but it never got passed the talking stage. Also, the last time we moved it from Florida to NY it cost $3000 just for shipping, not to mention all the sweat and man hours. Please let me know what you all think this console is really worth and feel free to share your opinions on where I can go with this thing. I feel that I got pretty good deal on both of these consoles but clearly the difference in price was a lot. The other issue that has a big effect on price is location and shipping costs.
