Hi everyone!
I was able to find a power supply for my Neotek 1 / 1e 16 channel console so thanks for everyone's help! The board powers up great and I was able to get audio into it after finding the mic and line inputs and listen to it through the headphone jack. Sounds nice! But now I seem to be having another stumbling block and I am looking to the experts on the board to see if anyone can help. Everything seems to work on the board great. It is very clean.My problem is I am trying to get it wired with this Gepco 2 conductor cable I purchased from Redco into the patch bays and am having trouble finding where everything is as far as connections are concerned on the back of the console. This console has the 3 ADC style punch blocks on the back (so no connectors) and I have the punch tool for the connections which works great. The punch blocks are in three sections labeled A, B, and C. (And I know all these consoles were made custom) but I would think there has to be some sort of logical way the sections were laid out. The "C block" runs behind the channel modules and I was able to determine the Line in and Mic Ins that take up that block. That's all that's connected on that block from looking at it from the inside. Next I tried to figure out B block (which is in the middle of the back panel, and A block which I assume is master section because it sits right behind it) With these two I am a bit stumped. Bot the first 16 points on the top row and bottom row starting from the left are connected on the inside. The rest of the B panel is not connected. I assume these are the channel inserts and direct outs> Which are which? Can anyone tell by the photo? And as for the inserts, How do I patch the inserts to the patch bay? Do I need two Gepco cables wired together to each of the 16 TRS points? On the A block section (which I assume has all the Master settings, I am stumped as well. http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww173/m80sbandrocks/NEOTEKAPANEL.jpg I was able to find the 8 Subgroup outs after a bit of trial and error and I think I found Mix L and R (and actually think I found two of these?) and tape 1, 2, 3, 4.But other than that how do I go about finding the aux sends, returns, and everything else in this section?
