Back in the day you'd have a 16 tracks reel to reel recorder hooked up to the 16 bus outputs and you'd route signal to bus #1 in order to record either to track #1 or #9, bus #2 to track #2 or #10 and so on. Hello, I'm working on wiring up my Neotek Series II 20x16(?)x2, and have managed to confuse myself. The reason for the confusion is that the patchbay is labeled with 16 bus outputs. However, each channel strip only has bus assignment switches for 8 busses (4 switches total, and an even/odd pan pot). The bus send strip only has 8 knobs (one for each bus). Am I missing something here? Is this only an 8 bus mixer? And if it truely is a 16 bus, how do I assign signal to the other 8 busses? Any help would be appreciated.
