I'm in agreement with Jim on the Surgex. As for what model, it depends
on how you are powering your stuff now. If it all comes to one location,
one of the rack mount units should do. If it's spread out, you could
look at mounting a box unit like the SX-20NE and running your cabling
from there.

power options as well. My Neotek was plugged in to a Furman PL-PlusDM
which offered me absolutely no protection. Makes me wonder why people
use these Furman boxes in the first place. I would appreciate it if
someone could recommend a specific Surgex model (or equivalent). As
always, finances are precious, but I obviously need something a little
more robust here.

Hank, you actually got off very easy; I'm glad to hear it. I'd really
suggest a top notch surge suppressor. We've used the Surgex units for
years in several applications (studio, lab- shop, computers, etc.) and
suggested them to many clients as well. They are actually rated for
lightning strikes.
