David,

I'd suggest you disconnect the power supply from the console (write down every color/terminal/etc. before you do this) and look into the supply first. Check the fuses for the audio rails (+/-18v BTW, the logic supply may also be derived/connected to the - rail) and logic supply, look for any obvious signs of failures; burnt resistors, char marks, shorting wires, whatever.

You need to get the supply figured out before moving onto the console. Don't re-connect it until you are 100% certain it is functioning correctly. Your failure could have started at the console and affected the supply, but it's more likely the other way around.

Yes, I'm in PA, but all the way at the other end of the state in Bucks. Sorry, but I would not be able to get out there to help. I may have a spare supply at the warehouse, but definitely not with screw terminal connections. I'm also not sure if it would work with an Elite............Ike?

Keep us posted and good luck.

Regards, Jim

That's the audio supply rails, which would explain the lack of audio
AND the logic grief. What kind of connector does your supply have,
screw terminals or a single multi-pin connector at the back of the
console?

Hi David
Do you have all five yellow LEDs lit on the power supply?
Most likely you have some bad logic chips in the stereo master
module.
If you are in PA, you are close to Jim (list owner). Jim,
I'm happy to provide Elite tech support if you want to field this
one.
Best,
Ike

I haven't used my 93 Elite for a number of months. I fired it up
and
have no sound. The master solo light is locked on. The monitor

solo lockout button, the mono light goes out. Also, there's a
green
bar at the -20 mark of the meters, and some of the meters have no

any

I
