I am performing some preventive maintenance on my Series 1 16 channel console.
Each module is the "plug in" style; not hardwired. The only major issue I have
is channel strip two has no output which I have narrowed down to most likely
bad solder joints on the female plug. But I thought while I'm digging around in
the console to maybe try a few mods to experiment with. Perhaps the easiest
being swapping out some IC's with different ones such as changing the NE5534's
to OPA627's...any thoughts?
