Hi everyone-- Possible stupid question about the S2. I often do submixes by assigning a bunch of channels to a buss, often in electronic music, where muting the kick or the snare is common practice. When I'm working on Pro Tools, I usually do this to create stems for later use. When I am working on tape, I often mute to reduce noise when creating a submix. Is there a way to have the mutes affect the signal going to the busses? I have been doing a bunch of kludge-y work-arounds like quick fades, and putting the channel's input to mic in place of a mute.
