Here's my setup before I get to the problem...

Freebsd 4.4
Nessus 1.1.11 built from the BSD ports tree
NessusWX 1.3.0

I am having a problem with the nessus server not restarting after I run the
nessus-update-plugins. This leads to the new plugins I downloaded not
showing up for use. Here is how to reproduce:

1. Nuke a couple of plugins from the /lib/nessus/plugins directory, I chose
all of the zope plugins for ease of use.
2. Start Nessus server and connect with client (occurs in Freebsd client and
Win client)Notice amount of plugins loaded.
3. Now exit the client and run the nessus-update-plugins -v. I saw that the
missing zope plugins were replaced and are in /lib/nessus/plugins. Now if I
read the man page correctly, the nessus daemon should have been restarted.
4. Restart client, notice previous plugin number is the same and still
missing the plugins you previously deleted. A PS will show the original
nessus process unchanged. If you restart the server by hand then all plugins
show up in the client. Is anyone else having problems like this? Other than
that Nessus is chugging along great. Any ideas? Thanks.
