We have a fellow here working on exactly this. he plans on taking the nmap output, finding the open ports, and grepping the nasl's to build a list of nessus probes to use based on ports.

I am able to use manual methods to scan my network more quickly. I would like to then have nessus probe the open ports found in my manual port scan. How can I feed this manual port scan information into nessus to accomplish this? I assume that there is a config file that can be edited to accomplish this. I am running nessus v1.0.10 on Red Hat 7.1 . Thank in advance for any information you can provide.
