Hi all, I'm having problems connecting from NessusWX 1.3.2.SP1 (WinXP) to a Mandrake 8.1 box running nessus 1.0.10. I am using encrypted communications.
I get a windows dialog saying "AUthentication failed" In /usr/local/bin/Nessus/var/nessus/nessusd.messages I get the following: [Fri Feb 1 11:44:25 2002][10064] connection from 10.0.1.100 [Fri Feb 1 11:44:25 2002][30672] Client requested protocol version 101. [Fri Feb 1 11:44:25 2002][30672] Installing IO thread id tracker. [Fri Feb 1 11:44:46 2002][10064] connection from 10.0.1.100 If try another connection few second after the first one, I get bolcked : [Fri Feb 1 11:44:46 2002][10064] same client 10.0.1.100 has connected twice - blocking for a while [Fri Feb 1 11:44:46 2002][30673] Client requested protocol version 101. [Fri Feb 1 11:44:47 2002][30673] Installing IO thread id tracker. NessusWX displays the following messages at the bottom of its screen: Nessus Console [Version 1.3.2-SP1] Ready libpeks version: peks/0.8 SSL library initialized Connecting to server 10.0.1.1 (port 1241) using PEKS encrypted connection...
