Hello, I *know* this is a DOH but I can not find the file that gives me the Nessus directory tree structure, as in, where the installer places all the files. Could use some direction.
This stems from a need to create config files to check common vulns on our network. It took me a while to find the telnet plugin I needed and then find the file that it uses to try default logins so I could modify. Now I need to find the ftp plugin and accts file to modify the list it uses and I keep getting lost. Lastly, in Prefs there is a ftp login & password entry that appears to be independent of plugins, is this correct? And, I see an entry there that is: "Brute Force Login (hydra)" and there is the opti9on to select a file for the attack. Below that I see brute force ftp, pop, etc., dumb question...if I select ftp and then enter a file in this area will it use the file for ftp, or whatever I select, or is the file selection only applicapable to hydra?
