I have to test the
DMZ of a client who is running Border Manager (Novell). This box certainly
suppresses ping. But it is also smart enough to block connections from a certain
ip when it gets several (about 20-30) port scan requests from
this ip. I saw, that there is the possibility to customize Nmap from the Nessus
GUI. My question: How should I define the settings to outfox Firewalls e.g.
Border Manager (I already tested several combinations in the 'Prefs' mask).? I
did not find any hints in the docs.
