I am looking for the same type of functionality, except I am generating XML output from Nessus and would like the HTML version generated as well, WITHOUT having to run the scan again. I am using Nessus/Nessusd 1.2.0 on a Linux platfrom and have tried using the "-R" option to restore a session, but that doesn't seem to produce any new output.
If I can't figure a way to complete this via the nessus client, I am just going to have to write a script to parce and build an HTML doc. Any insight on this functionality would be much appreciated Thank :) Bob Mahan Network Security Operations Phone: (847) 571-5525 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.nsoco.com -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Jared Breland Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2002 7:12 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: batch mode reports Hi. I have several cron jobs setup to run batch scans. I currently have the results saved as an html file, but I need the results saved in both html and nbe format. I know that I can save the results in nbe format, then load it in the nessus client and manually save it as html, but I'd like to find some automated way of doing this so that everything can be controlled through the cron scripts. Is there either some way to save the results of a batch scan in more than one format, or perhaps a way to script the conversion from nbe to html without human intervention? Thanks. -- Jared
