No, the port used is 80 tcp outbound. If you need to use a proxy, edit
you ~/.nessus-update-pluginsrc and have the lines:

proxy="proxy.your.domain"
proxy_user="your_proxy_username"        
proxy_passwd="your_proxy_passwd" 


in it.
