Hallo all,
I very rarely post to the list, but I've run into an issue which I
need help with. I have found that the last two days or so Nessus is just
scanning one machine at a time, no matter how many I specify in the client.
I checked the /root/.nessusrc file and it is correct, but still I just see
it checking one host at a time. I thought maybe my auto-build had pulled
something incorrectly, so I manually CVS'd the latest version and
re-compiled. Same issue.
Server Box: Red Hat 7.2
Client Box: Same box as server (Red Hat 7.2)
Nessus Version: latest build via CVS
I've looked at processes running, and Nessus is just spawning
(numTestsToPerform x 1) .. specifically, in my case 7 nessusd's. Anyone
have any thoughts? My next course of action is to remove /root/.nessusrc,
but maybe someone out there has run into something simular?
