Hi,

conducting tests regarding open shares under Windows, I created a minimal
policy to detect accessible shares. The policy contains:

netbios_name_get.nasl
cifs445.nasl
smb_login.nasl
smb_enumerate_shares.nasl
smb_accessible_shares.nasl

The target is a Win2k host with an empty admin password.

Exactly once --- sometime inbetween --- all checks ran through and brought the
desired results. All other times, however, smb_accessible_shares.nasl
seems to get stuck.

I am testing Nessus 1.2.6 with
  - nessusd on both RedHat 7.3 and FreeBSD 4.7 stable
  - nessus clients on linux and NessusWX on a Windows machine

Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong?

Thanks a lot,

Bernd
