the services plugin tries to decide what service is on a port.
I think it connects, listens and then starts to send things like web
commands, etc.

If you indeed have found some 'random' string that services sends to
oracle to crash it, and you have all th epatches, then you have found
yourself an unknown 'denial of service' condition!

document it and sent it to oracle and get your name on bugtraq.
