Hi all, Once I get this working, I'll more than happy to document this.
I cannot for the life of me get public key/cert authentication
working on the client side of nessus.
Here's what I've done:
- Installed nessus from source (version 1.2.6)
- Run the following as root:
# nessus-mkcert
(entered all the data, fine)
# nessus-mkcert
(with username stripes)
# nessus-adduser
(with username stripes, cert authentication)
Started the daemon
# nessusd -D
Now, when I try to login, I'm still prompted for a password.
Did I do something completely boneheaded or is something amiss?
I couldn't find this in the FAQ or any of the other docs.
