FYI  I compiled a working Nessus 1.3.4 on my Solaris 7 host with a slight difficulty, so if
anyone is struggling, here's what worked for me..

With a pre-existing GCC 2.95.2 installation, I pulled Bison 1.875 and M4 1.4 from
the GNU site and compiled them into /usr/local. In order to compile glib and GTK for
Nessus, I had to have the Sun version of m4 in front of the GNU version, otherwise
they would not compile cleanly. Then before I could compile nessus-libraries and
libnasl, I had to switch to use the GNU version of m4.

I'm sure, that if you played with the glib and gtk configurator's I'm sure you could get
them to work with the GNU m4, but I found it much easier to switch the paths around
during the compilation.
