Excuse my dumbness, but after my last try I realized that there's no .nessusrc on the machine: despite that the scan is performed, but obviously something is going more than wrong... Anyway, the architecture is i386 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) , Red Hat 8.0 with kernel 2.4.18-24.8.0, the scan was an "all but dangerous" with a 1-1024 port scan. This is just a test machine but all worked very well with 1.2.7.
