with nmap 3.20 I have a problem that I don't think is nessus-related, but may be somebody has an idea on how to fix it: it finds some tcp ports ( 21,389,1720,1002 ) open, but the telnet localhost on the same port says they are closed. the method used is SYN SCAN.
For example the ftp service is not even installed: may the problem be that those hosts are firewalled ?
