I haven't used nessusd on a Zaurus, but I have ran the zNessus client. It doesn't are about wireless. It's just a connection as far as it's concerned and it runs just like it does over ethernet.
The last time I checked the zNessus client did not support SSL/TLS connections to the server. So you have to enable plain-text logons. I typically use SSH to connect to the server and then tunnel zNessus through that.
