I had run a scan on a large subnet overnight on my laptop. When I came in this morning the screen was frozen (KDE). The last time this happened I pressed ctr+alt+backspace logged back in and everything was fine. This time the nessus client had closed.
I checked the nessusd.messages file and the scan appears to have run ok. My question is... Is there anyway to get the results from the /usr/local/var/nessus/users/user/sessions data and index files?
Just replay the session and make sure your KB settings will not make the scans be remade. It should reuse the information already stored in the KB (you did use KB saving since you have a sessions data/indes files, IIRC), that is, it will simulate the scan with the GUI but no attacks will be launched (check this either looking at the traffic outgoing from the server or reading the nessus.messages file)
