To run a subset of plugins I did the foll.
Copied the plugins in question from $prefix/lib/nessus/plugins to $prefix/var/nessus/users/<login>/plugins/
That did not seem to work so I removed them. After that if I tried to run the tests with all the plugins in /usr/local/lib/nessus/plugins. It does not seem to work. It looks for the ones that I copied to /usr/local/var/nessus/users/<login>/plugins in /usr/local/var/nessus/users/<login>. So I copied them there and then it worked. Meanwhile I deleted all the entries under /usr/local/var/nessus/users/<login>/kbs and /usr/local/var/nessus/users/<login>/sessions, just to make sure it did not have any cached information in there.
Do u know what's going on? Is this a bug or works as designed.
