In addition to Hugo's suggestion of executing nasl directly, you could
use my update-nessusrc script; eg,
update-nessusrc -c "" -f "" -r "" -i 10180 -i xxxxx ~/.nessusrc
This ensures that the config file has only one plugin selected. [It
also a ping scanner (#10180); you'll need some type of scanner to detect
that the host is alive.] Then, if auto_enable_dependencies is unset,
only the selected plugin will be run. Note, though, that doing so may
be sub-optimal as is the case, for example, of a plugin that makes use
of login information to enhance its accuracy.
