I have a question about how plugin overriding works in .nessusrc.
I did give a list of plugins by naming a file(which contains the relevant
plugin scripts)
in nessusd.conf and did not have any .nessusrc.
Nessus ran and created a .nessusrc but it did not have any line
such as
begin(PLUGIN_SET) while it had a line with begin(SCANNER_SET).

Now if I want to run only a few plugins and tell nessus about it through
.nessusrc,
if I just mention a particular plugin via begin(PLUGIN_SET), nessus still
runs all the
plugins mentioned via nessusd.conf.

So, to override the plugins, is it necessary that each plugin mentioned via
nessusd.conf
have to be explicitely overriden via .nessusrc, by giving yes, and no under
begin(PLUGIN_SET)?

A clarification would be appreciated.

I run nessus via command line (no GTK) and I looked at man nessus and it
didnt mention
the above details. Perhaps I have missed out on some other documentation?

regards,
Samir
