Can you provide more information? How did you download the archive -- nessus-update-plugins or something else? What makes you say smb_msblast was not installed? If you haven't already, edit the nessusd.conf file, set log_plugins_name_at_load to yes, and restart the daemon. Nessus will then log the name of each plugin as it is loaded. Check your log (nessusd.messages probably). Do you see smb_msblast? Note that if you download the archive manually you need to either restart the daemon or send it a HUP signal for the daemon to become aware of changes. Also note that non-unique plugin ids and/or script names will cause some plugins to become invisible. While I don't think this is a problem with the current plugin archive, it could be if you've been developing your own plugins, especially if you've used smb_msblast as a template.
